March 14, 2015.

On Pi Day (i.e. 3.14/2015), I exhibited a series of my panorama photographs under the theme “Water” as a part of the Graduate Arts Soiree at the Media Lab, MIT. It was a super successful event, with a lot of interest in the project! Here are some pictures from the event!! 😀
One of the main photographs in this exhibit was a 9 feet tall image of the wake of the boat from Battery Park to the Statue of Liberty, crowned by the New York skyline. This is made of 4 vertical panels, each of which is a single photograph stitched by the iPhone camera! The second photo to the right of the New York skyline is also stitched water, (waters of Chicago), that I like to call my Monet (as the photograph looks to me a mimic of Monet’s Water Lilies). The third photograph looks like pencil sketched center of a DNA helix, and it is also just stitched water!
